JUDAIC STUDIES
Hebrew Teacher
Candidates should have significant experience teaching Hebrew to middle-school and/or high school students for whom English is a primary language, a degree in Hebrew Language or Literature, enthusiastic interest in working with high school students, and strong communication skills. Experience in the Proficiency Approach to Language Education is preferred, and an excellent command of spoken and written English is required.

Tanakh Teacher
Candidates should have a strong background in the Tanakh and its interpretation and an enthusiastic interest in working with high school students. Experience teaching parshanut and modern critical approaches is a plus. Candidates should be comfortable working in a pluralistic Jewish setting that engages students from all Jewish backgrounds with creative and innovative programs.

GENERAL STUDIES
Academic Technology Coordinator/Teacher
Experienced Academic Technology Coordinator sought to provide support for the use and integration of technology into the school’s teaching and learning environment. The ideal candidate will also teach several classes in either Math (all levels) or Science (Physics/Chemistry). Responsibilities include designing and offering appropriate training workshops, chairing the Academic Technology Committee, and partnering with faculty and students in the exploration and use of instructional technologies. The ability to teach Computer Science is a plus, as is a working knowledge of Hebrew and multi-language applications.

English Teacher (Full-time or Part-time)
Experienced candidate sought to teach survey courses in Introduction to Literature and Genre (9th grade) and British Literature (10th grade), either full-time or part-time. Candidates should have an advanced degree and experience creating a successful learning experience for students with diverse learning styles. Maternity Leave English Teacher (Sept-Nov)

Helpdesk Technician
Gann Academy is accepting applications for a full-time Helpdesk Technician. This is an entry level position for tier 1 support which reports to Director of Technology. The Helpdesk Technician is an integral member of a small IT department that supports and provides for the operations of the school’s technology objectives.

Spring Coaches
Gann Academy seeks to hire the following part-time coaching positions for the
Spring season: Assistant Varsity Girls' Lacrosse, Assistant Varsity Boys' Lacrosse,
Head Coach Girls' JV Lacrosse, Assistant Varsity Baseball,
Head JV Coach Baseball,
Head Coach Girls' Varsity Tennis, Recreational Golf Coach (this position meets
with students only 2x per week where the other positions are 4x per week).
Competitive team practice sessions are Monday through Thursday, alternating
between late afternoon (in the range 3-5pm) and early evening (in the range
5-7pm) times, with occasional Sunday practices. Games and matches are scheduled
Monday through Thursday with occasional Sat nights. Compensation is based on
experience and ability.
