Shira Androphy joins the History Department. A graduate of Brandeis University with a Master of Education in Teaching History, Shira previously worked at Excel High School and the Boston-Area Jewish Education Program.

Shane Bergin joins our IT staff as the Helpdesk technician. Most recently, Shane worked for Information Technology Services.

Ruth Barak joins the Hebrew Department. A graduate of Burlington College, Ruth has experience teaching at several schools in Israel and at the Israeli School in Lexington, MA.

Kevin Cattrell joins the English Department. Kevin received his Ph.D. in English from Rutgers University with a dissertation on the psalms in the literature of colonial New England.

Susan Cheloff joins The Learning Center as a learning specialist. Susan received her Ph.D. from Brandeis University with a concentration in developmental disabilities. She previously served as a consultant to the Massachusetts Department of Education working with students with special needs in the Lynnfield school system.

Lindsay Goldstein joins The Learning Center as a learning specialist. A graduate of Bard with a Master's in Education from Cambridge College, Lindsay worked most recently at the Cornerstones Residential School in Haverhill, MA.

Andrea Lauerman joins the Science Department. A graduate of Dartmouth with a Master's of Education from Harvard, Andrea has experience teaching at Kent Place and Prospect Hill Charter School.

Amy Newman joins the Tanakh Department. A graduate of McGill University with a Master's in Education from Harvard, Amy has taught at Ramaz in New York.

Ariel Serkin joins the History Department. A graduate of Brandeis University with a Master's in History from UMass-Boston, Ariel taught most recently at the BMC Durfee High School in Fall River, MA. She also has experience as a historical interpreter on the Freedom Trail and in conjunction with other historical tours in the Boston area.

Jonah Wagan joins the JSL team. A graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Master's of Education and Art Education, Jonah has extensive experience working at Camp Interlaken in Eagle River, WI.
