Ruderman Family FoundationWorking with a grant from the Ruderman Family Foundation, Gann Academy will now be able to hire an Admissions Outreach Coordinator whose sole responsibility will be to actively market to and recruit new students from outside the world of Jewish day schools. Potential students are those who currently attend area public, private and charter schools and who may also be involved in local congregations, Jewish camps and supplemental Jewish education programs. The new Coordinator will identify potential Gann Academy students—those who are both academically motivated and committed to Judaism—and, employing a number of creative recruitment strategies, will successfully bring them into the Gann Academy family. This innovative program will also serve as a model for other day schools looking to attract new students from outside the day school fold.
