It is a budgetary reality that tuition alone does not cover the entire day-to-day cost of running a school. Gann Academy–The New Jewish High School of Greater Boston relies on annual campaign gifts to make up the difference. Annual campaign gifts provide support for the school’s yearly operating budget, which includes faculty and staff salaries and benefits, athletic equipment, information technology, community service opportunities, library acquisitions, Jewish holiday programming, Limud Clali programs with outside speakers, Shabbatonim, visual and performing arts, and physical plant costs. The 2009-2010 Annual Campaign has a goal of $1,325,000.

The Annual Campaign is comprised of appeals and face to face solicitations of parents, trustees, alumni, alumni parents, and grandparents, as well as friends of Gann Academy throughout the community. The Annual Campaign may also include special events throughout the year. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, births, graduations, memorials or to acknowledge special achievements, tribute cards are mailed by the Development Office.
