The Capital Campaign has two components: the Capital Fund and the Endowment Fund. Giving to the Capital FundGifts to the Capital Fund help to build and maintain the "bricks and mortar" that house our students and faculty at Gann Academy. Capital improvements include projects such as constructing new buildings, installing athletic facilities, and purchasing substantial equipment. Capital Fund gifts are payable over three to five years and carry naming opportunities. Giving to the Endowment FundWhile there are almost as many reasons for establishing endowments as there are donors, contributors to Gann Academy are united by their support of the school's pursuit of excellence. Gifts to Gann Academy’s unrestricted endowment enable the school to maintain its fiscal stability and carry out its vision and mission. Endowed funds have been created to honor an individual, to memorialize a family member, or as a family fund. Endowments create a permanent source of revenue to support programs and opportunities that enhance the students’ classroom education and experiential learning. Endowed gifts may be created through gifts of cash, appreciated securities, or bequests. The guidelines for endowing a fund at Gann Academy specify the minimum funding level for a particular type of fund, the length of time for payment of pledges for funding an endowment, and the school’s spending policy on endowed funds.
