The Gann Parent Association (GPA) is pleased to announce the fourth annual Teacher Development Fund drive. In addition to offering families a way to recognize and thank faculty for an excellent year of teaching, mentoring, and advising, the fund provides financial resources to support professional development.

Gann parents have continued to give generously to this fund over the past couple of years, making the program a resounding success. Thanks to these contributions, teachers were able to attend a broad range of programs this year including: a Time Management workshop; the Dirsha Institute in New York; an AP Calculus Summer Institute program; a Summer Artist-in-Residence Program; an Association for Jewish Librarians Conference; a Mathematics, Science and Technology conference; and, a conference entitled “Research for Better Teaching – The Skillful Teacher.”  These opportunities support the professional growth of our faculty, which directly contribute to improved learning experiences for our children.
