Farrah R. Rubenstein is Gann Academy’s first Director of Enrollment Management, having joined Gann in August 2013.
In this newly created position, Farrah will lead the school’s outreach, recruitment, and admissions efforts and oversee the growing Admissions department. She will also work in close partnership with Gann staff and faculty, Trustees, students and families, and leaders in the Greater Boston Jewish community to bring an increasing number of qualified students into the Gann community.
Farrah most recently served as the Director of Leadership and Board Development at CJP, and has over 15 years of experience in development, program design, and education in the Boston Jewish community.
She is a graduate of Brandeis University, and now lives in Natick with her husband, Barry, and their two children, Gabrielle and Kaleb.

Leslie Grossman is Co-Director of Admissions and Financial Aid Counselor.
She most recently served for seven years as Director of Admissions at the American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina. Prior to moving from the Boston area, Leslie worked with Prozdor of Hebrew College, the Young Emissary Program for the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, and was a consultant for CJP's Yesod Youth Educator program.
Leslie also served as Assistant Director of the Genesis Program at Brandeis, Youth Activities Director at Temple Emanuel, Newton, and has advised several NFTY youth groups. Leslie has a B.S.degree in Middle School Education from Lesley University and a Masters degree from Brandeis University's Hornstein Program in Jewish Communal Service.
Leslie's husband, Larry is a Newton native, and together they have two sons and two dogs. Leslie is excited to be part of the Gann community!

Efraim Yudewitz has held the position of Director of Admissions since 2010 after serving as the Associate Director for two years.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio but spent most of his childhood in Miami, Florida where he experienced overnight camp at Camp Yavneh as both a camper and later as a counselor. Efraim’s experiences as a counselor at Yavneh as well as his work at the interfaith youth program Camp IF, helped forge a love for a close-knit community setting full of diverse, passionate kids.
After learning about a new and upcoming school called, “New Jew” in Boston, Massachusetts from friends, Efraim made the decision to move to Boston in 2006 to take the position in the office of Jewish and Student Life at New Jew, later named Gann Academy.
Efraim has been with Gann Academy since 2006 and has been an instrumental part in creating a warm and lively community where students feel they can ask questions, contribute ideas and discover new friendships that often last a lifetime.
Efraim lives in Sharon, Massachusetts with his wife Jess (New Jew ’01) daughter Mia, and his rescue dog named Pico.

Rachel Kalikow joined Gann as Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator in the fall of 2012.
She comes to Gann after working in the Jewish community for 20 years, most recently as a development consultant and professional. Prior to joining Gann, Rachel consulted for organizations including JOIN for Justice and the New Israel Fund. She has worked for the Foundation for Jewish Culture, Jewish Women's Archive, Facing History and Ourselves, the New Israel Fund and the American Jewish Committee.
Rachel has lived in Boston area for nearly 16 years, interrupted by brief moves to Manchester, England, and New York. She currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband, David, two young daughters and cockatiel.
