Theatre at Gann is a rehearsal for an empowered, engaged and critically conscious life! Through classes and productions, you will learn to collaborate, create, innovate and communicate with their body, voice, mind, and heart.
The Theatre program at Gann offers multiple opportunities to engage as actors, directors, set designers, technicians, writers, or members of the audience. Whether theatre is your passion or you take just one class during your time at Gann, we offer a comprehensive theatre education with many leadership opportunities on stage and behind the scenes.
Course offerings vary from year to year, scaffolded over four years to engage students and move them towards a stronger understanding of all aspects of the theatre world.

For those students interested in producing or performing, the Red Curtain Drama Club meets weekly with students coming together to learn, play drama games, and coordinate the school’s three productions: the Fall Play, Winter/Spring Musical, and Playhem (student directed one-act and short plays performed throughout the school).
After the Parkland shooting in 2018, Gann students staged protests and lobbied their legislators. Gann's Red Curtain Drama Club took to the theatre, acting in and directing a performance of “Natural Shocks” that was featured on WBUR’s The ARTery.
