Gann Starts Key Week on Winning Note

In an MBIL contest, Gann took on CCA Monday afternoon at Gann and walked away with an 81-51 victory, taking the season series with CCA 2-0.
Heading into what may be the most difficult week of the season both in terms of number of games (4) and strength of opponents, Gann took care of business early today versus league rival Covenant Christian Academy. From the outset, Gann maintained control of the game, jumping out to a 9-0 lead and stretching the lead to 20 at the half. While the scoreboard may have shown Gann in control throughout, you may not have known that from comments made by the Gann coaching staff in their post game follow up. "Don't get me wrong," said Coach Nole, "but while we've had some very strong and impressive wins so far this season, much like today, I can't help but think we have so much more to show. I don't think we've peaked yet and I really think we can take things to even another level." Gann put 12 players into the score column today and was led today by Yahm Rones with 18, Eli Cole with 15, Jacob Starr with 12, Matt Gluck with 10. Eamon Sinclair and Jonah Weinstock each chipped in with 6. Gann jumps right back into action tomorrow against perennial powerhouse Worcester Academy.
