Coming off 3 games last week in which the offense struggled and could not break the 60 point mark, the Gann offense found complete rhythm and tore through the Landmark defense on its was to an 86-52 victory Monday afternoon at Gann. Senior Matt Gluck set the tone right out of the gate, hitting 4 consecutive 3's in the first half, finishing with 16 by the break and 43 overall. With fluid movement against any defense that was throw at them, Gann methodically passed, cut, and distributed the ball with very few possessions that were not positive. "Matt (Gluck) was clearly on fire tonight, but if there is a 'quiet' way to score 43 points--you saw it tonight. The ball movement was so good tonight with so many hands touching the ball on every possession that I was shocked when I heard he hit the 40 mark," said Coach Nole. Defensively Gann continued its aggressive style, again throwing multiple defensive looks at Landmark keeping them off kilter. The win puts Ganns overall record at 14-4 as it prepares for its final regular season contest vs. powerhouse Dexter Academy and the upcoming MBIL playoffs next week. The win highlighted Senior night as Gann offered post game congratulations to 9 graduating Seniors and their families including Matt Gluck, Yahm Rones, Dan Metser, Izy Altman-Sagan, Eric Kruglak, Gabe Rosen, Ilan Barr, Eli Goldstein, and Eli Cole. "This is a very special group of young men," said Nole, "...and we thank them all for their years of commitment to our program and school."
