Welcome to Dr. Dalia Hochman
Dr. Hochman is well known for her leadership and strategic advisory work at Summit Learning, the high-profile Silicon Valley charter network funded by The Chan Zuckerberg Education Initiative. She has been involved in projects and roles across the country, from the Wildflower Montessori Schools to the U.S. Department of Education. Her previous work has given her a unique perspective and understanding of “what works” at the most well-respected and highly-regarded schools in America.
In addition to her nationally-known academic leadership, Dr. Hochman has deep connections to Judaism, Torah, Israel, and Boston and lives out the pluralistic mission of Gann every day. She is a graduate of Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston and holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy, Politics, and Leadership from Columbia University. She also studied at The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem during a Dorot Fellowship in Israel.
Originally from Lexington, Dr. Hochman is married to Dr. David Schidlow, a pediatric cardiologist, and they have three children: Benjamin, Gabriel, and Eliav.
She looks forward to meeting the community through these upcoming events:
