Laura Michel joined Gann Academy from the Montrose School in Medfield in 2022. She teaches 11th-grade US History and electives across all grades. Laura earned her undergraduate degree in History from Carleton College, MA in Eighteenth-Century Studies from the University of Liverpool, and PhD in American History from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She previously taught courses ranging from Western Civilization to Comparative Topics: Japan and Italy and Modern World History.
