Michelle Black, President
Michelle Black is a dedicated community leader in the Greater Boston Jewish community. She serves on the boards of Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), Gann Academy, and The Rashi School. Currently, Michelle chairs CJP's Governance and Nominating Committee and is a co-chair for Rashi’s comprehensive campaign. In addition, she serves on the Governance committee for both Gann Academy and Temple Beth Elohim, as well as the development committees for Gann Academy, The Rashi School and Temple Beth Elohim.
Michelle earned her M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and spent more than 10 years working as a consultant, both to non-profits and corporate organizations in the fields of leadership development, corporate strategy and organizational change management. She now applies her business skills and experience to the non-profit arena acting as an ambassador, community builder, fundraiser, and strategic advisor.
Originally from San Francisco, Michelle lives in Waban with her husband Darren and their four children.
