Ellis is a CPA and founding partner of Morris & Morris, P.C., where he provides a wide range of professional services to a full complement of business and individual clients. He began his professional career with a seven-year tenure at a Big 8 CPA firm in New York and Boston. Prior to starting Morris & Morris, P.C., Ellis was the CFO for a 30 million dollar multi-entity company. Ellis is the Executive Vice-President of Temple Israel of Natick and has been both the Treasurer and Vice-President of Finance over the previous ten years. He also serves as Vice-President of Development and is on the Board of Directors of Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston. In 2012, Ellis was named the first recipient of the MetroWest Jewish Day School’s Keter Shem Tov Award (the Crown of a Good Name). In 2015, Ellis, a former Board Member of JFS, and his wife Barbara were honorees at the Jewish Family Service of Metrowest “Seize the Dream” Gala. Ellis was Co-Chair of the 2015-16 Schechter Annual Campaign. Ellis graduated from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Accounting. He and his wife Barbara live in Natick. Their daughter Ashley graduated from Gann in 2021.
