Jonathan (“Jonty”) Joffe is an experienced business leader focusing on the integration of strategy, structure and finance for a wide range of organizations. In addition to running his own consulting practice, he is CEO of QTec Analytics, a group of family offices investing in artificial intelligence and data analytics companies in the US, Israel and the UK. He was previously a senior partner at Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte) where he ran the Strategy and Finance practice for many years.
Jonty has been involved in community affairs from a young age. He was a prominent anti-apartheid activist in South Africa, first as the President of the National Union of South African Students, and later as a human rights lawyer. He is the past President and current Board member of South Africa Partners, a Boston based non-profit supporting large-scale HIV and Early Childhood Development projects in at risk communities.
Jonty is a product of the Jewish Day School system in South Africa, having attended King David throughout his schooling, other than a period living in Israel from 1966-1968. His late father was the Honorary Life President of the South African Board of Jewish Education and a leader of the Jewish Education Committee of the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Jonty has a BA (economics) and LLB from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from Harvard Law School. He is married to Lisa Fishbayn Joffe and they have three children. Their son Jacob graduated from Gann in 2019.
