Joshua is a Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, where he is the head of the Organizational Behavior unit and faculty chair of the Program for Leadership Development, the Christensen Center for Teaching and Learning, and the MAOZ HBS executive education program. Previously Joshua served on the board of Solomon Schechter Day School, where he chaired the Head Support and Evaluation Committee.
Joshua received his B.A. from Yale University and his A.M. (Sociology) and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University, where he was also a Fellow in the Program in Ethics and the Professions. Joshua joined the HBS faculty in 2000 after three years on the faculty at the University of Michigan as a Fellow in the Society of Scholars.
Joshua and his wife Sara Schutzman live in Brookline with their daughter Yael (Gann Class of 2023). They are members of Congregation Kehillath Israel.
