Farrah Rubenstein has served as Gann's first Director of Enrollment Management since 2013. Farrah leads the school's outreach, recruitment, and admissions efforts. She works with colleagues in academics and student life to ensure successful transition of new students to Gann, and oversees the committee of faculty and staff that reviews applications of prospective students and families to Gann. Before coming to Gann, Farrah worked at CJP, where she was the Director of Leadership and Board Development and a Major Gifts Officer. She has nearly 20 years of experience in education, development, and volunteer engagement in the Boston Jewish community. She is a graduate of Brandeis University. She lives in Natick with her husband and their two children.
Rachel Kalikow joined the staff at Gann Academy in the fall of 2012. As Director of Community Outreach and Partnerships, Rachel creates opportunities for middle school families to learn about the stimulating education and community that Gann offers. Prior to Gann, Rachel consulted for organizations including JOIN for Justice and the New Israel Fund. She also has worked for the Foundation for Jewish Culture, Jewish Women's Archive, Facing History and Ourselves, and the American Jewish Committee. Rachel has lived in the Boston area for nearly 20 years, interrupted by brief moves to England and New York. She lives in Newton with her husband, David, two daughters, and cockatiel.
Emilie Golenberg came to Gann in 2015. She works directly with prospective families, helping to guide them through the admissions process and understand what a Gann education offers. Prior to working at Gann, Emilie worked at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) as a Program & Development Officer on the Young Adult Initiative team, focusing on their Outreach & Engagement strategy. Emilie earned a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from University of San Francisco, where she lived for 9 years before moving to Boston in 2011. Emilie also spent 16 summers at URJ-NFTY’s Goldman Union Camp Institute (GUCI) in Zionsville, IN. She lives in Somerville with her fiancé, Adam.
Rachel Brander joined the staff at Gann Academy in the fall of 2017. Rachel previously worked in admissions at the Jewish Community High School in San Francisco and at Sacred Heart in NYC, and is an alumna of the Waynflete School in Portland, Maine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 4 month old, Ari, cooking and being outside.
Gina Carballo came to Gann in 2013. Gina is the Admissions Associate for the admissions department. Gina previously worked at a top-tier financial advisory practice for seven years. Gina is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts at Lowell. She lives in Cambridge with her husband, Justin, and their Weimaraner, Silver.
