The Visual Arts at Gann

How Will You Express Your Ideas?

Working as an artist demands that students become keen observers and connect their physical selves to the expression of a creative idea. Our students’ creative pursuits are complemented by the development of cultural literacy. From film courses to photo exhibits to talks from visiting artists, Gann students regularly engage in conversations about visual art.

Gann students take hands-on courses in drawing, painting, photography, film-making, and sculpture. Student artwork is always on display around campus and is also featured in student publications and arts festivals during the school year.
