Meet the Class of 2022

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2022 to the Gann community! This incoming class is one of our largest, with 74 students coming from 24 schools, consisting of 11 public schools and 13 independent schools.

"Gann draws students from all over Greater Boston and a variety of Jewish backgrounds," says Director of Admissions Emilie Goncalves. "Students who come to Gann are able to develop friendships with kids from Marblehead to Sharon, Worcester to Brookline."

With summer experiences ranging from camp to sabre fencing, our students are bringing new energy and new perspectives to the Gann community.

This year's class comes from a wide array of Jewish backgrounds – one out of seven identify as Reform, around half as Traditional Egalitarian or Conservative, and a fifth identify with various Orthodox movements. A number of our students also identify as secular, cultural or as part of other Jewish movements. The class is also economically diverse, with more than half of families receiving financial aid.

"We’re so excited to start this school year with a fabulous, diverse class of students coming to us from such a variety of geographic locations, who engage with their Judaism in a lot of different ways."
