Visionary donors make a Gann education financially accessible to more families
Waltham, MA: Gann Academy has just expanded its income-scaled tuition program to make the academy’s stellar private high school education available to more families—through the Within Reach program. Within Reach is designed for families who may not typically qualify for financial aid. For students applying to enter the incoming class of 2021, families with an adjusted gross income starting at $175,000, and now up to $500,000, depending on family size, are eligible for an affordable tuition program for four years.
“Outstanding education, infused with Jewish values, is very important to our family. Within Reach has allowed us to give our children the gift of Gann,” said a Within Reach parent. Determination of eligibility is straightforward, and the application is abbreviated. If a family meets program criteria, the student’s tuition assessment will be predictable for the full time he or she is at Gann Academy, with increases limited to 2.5% each year.
Families can learn more by reviewing the Within Reach program description and the new student application, which includes the Within Reach tuition grid. Forms must be submitted by January 17, 2017.
“Bold donors created this program to be sure that families do not opt out of Jewish high school because of cost. No family should have to mortgage their future to afford a Gann education,” said Rabbi Marc Baker, Head of School.
Gann Academy is Greater Boston’s pluralistic Jewish high school, recognized for an innovative curriculum that combines in-depth critical analysis, experiential learning, and a focus on building a better world.
