Facing uphill battles all week vs. high caliber teams, once again Gann was down multiple players fighting illnesses and could not muster up enough to defeat Worcester Academy, dropping the low scoring game 37-26.
Gann complete a strong week of action, winning its 3rd game in 4 days with a solid victory over MBIL rival Chapel Hill. A full court pressure and intense trapping on the defensive end early in the first half helped start the game off right, with Gann pushing to a 10 point lead midway through the half and pushed the lead to 19 at halftime. With Chapel Hill bringing two very solid starters into the game in the 2nd half, both of which sat the entirety of the 1st half, the game took on a much different competitive tone. Even with the increased level of play and greater intensity, Gann maintained full control and continued to hold and even push the lead. "I thought that was the best we have played all season, putting together 32 solid minutes," said Coach Nole. A very balanced scoring attack was led by Eli Gross and Dan Galper both with 17, Noah Lion with 15, Jacob Starr and Ithai Dvir with 8, and Josh Rosenbloom with 7. The win pushes Gann to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in MBIL League play.
