College Counseling
Gann’s College Counselors offer comprehensive, personalized guidance to students as they pursue college, university, and/or gap-year programs. The individual attention they provide ensures that students feel supported as they identify and work toward their goals. Because of the close working relationship with their college counselor, students engage in self-reflection and make thoughtful decisions about what kind of communities will serve them best after Gann; they receive tailored advice as they consider where they will feel happiest and most successful. Our long-standing philosophy of matching the right student with the right college is based upon a deep, detailed understanding of each individual, and is highly intentional.Â
Â
Gann’s counselors maintain close ties with college admissions officers around the country by frequently visiting campuses and welcoming over 70 university and gap-year visitors each year. These visits provide students with the opportunity to learn about colleges, form meaningful connections, and advocate for themselves – as well as provide the college representatives with the chance to learn more about our school and community. Gann sends its graduates out into the world with an understanding of who they are, where they belong, and who they are becoming. Â
