Laila Goodman joined Gann Academy after teaching 2 years at Maimonides School and 14 years at The Waring School. She teaches multiple courses in the Science Department including Biology, The Biological Basis of Behavior, Anatomy & Physiology and Chemistry. Laila is also Gann’s Madricha Ruchanit (Spiritual Advisor.) In this role, Laila helps with planning and facilitation of Jewish experiential programming and leads a minyan and Mussar groups (Jewish character development) for students and Faculty s. Laila earned her undergraduate degree at Florida State University and a M.Ed at Harvard University. Laila is a professional magician and she can ride a unicycle.
