Marion Menzin

Marion is Gann Academy’s Assistant Head of School for Teaching and Learning. She joined Gann in June 2020 as a curriculum consultant and served as Director of Humanities before moving into the role of AHOSTL. Over the past couple of years, she has relished the opportunity to collaborate with Gann’s dedicated and talented teaching faculty and instructional leadership to help shape an academic program that prioritizes rigor, robust student engagement, and meaning-making.  Prior to working at Gann, Marion taught History, English, and Spanish, worked as an administrator, faculty mentor, and instructional design consultant in Boston-area schools, and earned a PhD in History. Marion lives in Newton with her husband and four children, and is also a board member of Camp Yavneh and a member of Newton’s Minyan Ma’or.
