9th Grade Experience: Arts Foundations

Ninth Grade Arts Foundations courses are based on the principle that there is a place for everyone to be an artist at Gann Academy. Whether they take Theatre, Media Arts, or Studio Arts Foundations, students are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and embrace something new. Arts Foundations courses are hands-on, interactive experiences where students are continually engaged in making, doing, building, designing, and collaborating. By presenting their own work, offering feedback and taking in the work of others, Ninth Grade students become art creators and appreciators, gaining skills that transcend the arts classroom. Arts Foundation courses are an integral, and memorable, part of the Ninth Grade experience at Gann.
