One of Gann’s three robotics teams hosted the largest scrimmage at Gann since 2020 this past weekend, providing teams from all over the state with an opportunity to run their robots collectively and showcase their amazing functions.
Alongside the three Gann teams, seven other teams participated, ranging from beginner teams to those who have represented Massachusetts at the First Tech Challenge Championships in the past few years.
Gann teams had the chance to test their robots through trial and error, determining how to improve them for future competitions, and did a fantastic job, welcoming other teams, managing MC duties, and keeping score throughout the day.
The team also welcomed alumni Alex Taglieri ’15 and Max Bushmelov ’14, who served as referees connecting past and current team members. Stay tuned for more updates as the team continues to participate in upcoming events.
