Women’s Minyan Honors IDF Soldiers with Memorial Rock Garden

A circle of students—members of the Women’s Minyanim (prayer groups)—held flat, painted stones in their hands. One by one, they placed their stones on a patch of earth surrounded by larger rocks. Together, they sang Eili, Eili and said kaddish for the people whose names are written on the stones.

On Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s day of remembrance for fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism, the minyanim painted these stones in memory of IDF soldiers who have died since October 7. They then consecrated the stones by creating a memorial rock garden near the patio, a quiet, powerful space for the Gann community to reflect and remember.
